Operations Director

The RTC Operations Director manages non-academic staff (Facilities Supervisor, Marine Superintendent, Laboratory Coordinator, Caretaker, Conference Center Coordinator, and Financial Coordinator); liaises with faculty and scientists; and is the primary contact for main campus administrators in Human Resources and Risk Management, Physical Planning and Development, and the College of Science & Engineering. Responsibilities include all aspects of RTC's facilities including daily operations, tenant leases, health and safety training and compliance, and serves as the primary responder in emergency situations. The Operations Director works with the Director to implement the strategic plan and with the Facilities Supervisor on long-term planning and special projects.
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent professional experience; seven
years of progressively more responsible experience in operations management; supervisory experience; project management experience; knowledge of health and safety training/compliance regulations; ability to analyze, prioritize, negotiate and respond effectively to a complex mix of scientific, technical and management needs; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders; must be computer/network literate.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
